Croghan's Company of Reenactors is a non-profit volunteer group of dedicated historical reenactors from all walks of life. Among our ranks, you will find teachers, tradesmen, clergy, students and more. The one thing that we share in common is a love of history and a commitment to bring it to life.
We offer a family friendly environment in which to pursue an interest in living history, with our portrayals ranging from soldiers to unit runners to the role of women in camp. Most of our group members reside in southwestern Ontario, and we take part in events that range from Amherstburg to the Niagara crescent.

The main focus of our unit is the War of 1812, in which we portray one of the ten companies of the 17th U.S Infantry. We were under the command of Major George Croghan. This unit was active in many of the battles along what is now Highway 3, or Talbot Trail. In addition, there are also members who participate in the French and Indian War and the Jacobite Rebellion.
A number of our members are available to make history come alive by providing "ghost walkers". Look at some our our "ghosts" under the People of Our Past heading.
If you would like to become involved in historical reenactment, or if you would like our group to participate in your heritage event, please contact us at [email protected] or find us on facebook at "Croghan's Company of Reenactors".
