French and Indian Wars and the Jacobite Rebellion
The 15th Regiment of Foot of His Majesty's Army
Our unit portrays Amherst’s 15th Regiment of Foot which served in North America during the French & Indian War of the 1750s. This unit was brought overseas primarily to deal with the siege of the Fortress of Louisbourg in 1758. It also served in the fever islands once it’s primary tasks were accomplished. Grenadier and light infantry units provide specialist shock troops or skirmishers for their affiliated regiments. Our particular rendition of the 15th of Foot is that of the men who formed eight out of ten regimental companies.

The Duke of Sutherland Militia
Our unit also portrays the 1st Militia unit, which was raised by the Duke of Sutherland to keep the Jacobite forces "in line" during the Uprisings. The portrayal of this unit takes place most often at Backus-Page House Museum at the annual "The Road to Culloden" event which takes place in mid May each year.
